6th Series Test Description - NEW TEST
The New 6th Series test will be a Super Single. 37 dog/handler teams will start this series.
Super Single
The 6th series is now a Super Single located at "Derby Field." The mat sits on the left side of a mound. This is the Northwest corner of the field.
Bird # 1 The gun station is located up on a ridge at the Southeast corner of the field. These gunners will shoot and then throw a Hen Duck from Left to Right landing by a clump of trees with bushes at the base at approximately 315 yards from the mat
This field is shaped like a bowl with a gravel road running Left to Right in the middle. The terrain slopes right and there is a hay bale in line to the bird on the near side of this road. As the dog starts to climb the far side towards the bird, there is a small round pond that is also in line, so the dog will get in the pond and swim across to exit on the other side to continue to climb the hill to the fall area and locate their bird.
This test will take approximately 4-5 minutes per dog to complete.
