2nd Series Test Description
The 2nd Series test will be a Land Double in the Dam Field. 51 dog/handler teams will start this series.
Land Double
The 2nd series mat is facing South on the North side of a hill. The line to both birds will carry the dogs down the hill and then up on the far side. Bird #1 will take the dog left of a group of evergreens to the top of a large dam that runs the entire left side of the test. The bird lands on the terraced far side. Bird #2 is straight in front of the mat requiring the dog to navigate a few terraces that run left to right across the field.
Bird # 1 is a Rooster. The gun station is located to the handlers left. The guns shoot and then throw the rooster to the left. This bird lands at approximately 205 yards from the mat. (LEFT)
Bird # 2 is also a Rooster. This gun station is located to the handlers right. The bird is thrown left to right with the bird landing approximately 155 yards from the mat. (RIGHT)
This test is taking approximately 3-4 minutes per dog to complete.
